The vintage style takes a delicate and sophisticated turn with soft colours and incredibly detailed patterns. Haceka’s Vintage and Allure ranges make the perfect shabby chic vibe to your home. The vintage look will continue to prove popular in 2018.
Technology will also continue to grow in 2018, with designs becoming more stylish and sympathetic to their surroundings. Check out Homeware Online‘s bluetooth speaker shelf available in monochrome colours, black and white.
Natural stone & earthy interiors
Warm natural stone colours, such as; orangey terracotta’s, bronzy browns and earthy greens were some of the hottest colours in 2017. They continue to be on-trend in the foreseeable future too.
Geometrics & hexagons will be everywhere
Hexagon shapes have been used for a modern edge in interiors and this trend shows no sign of fading. If you love wall art, consider choosing pieces that feature a geometric look. Another way is to make a powerful statement by using a bold geometric print on one of your larger design elements. Consider a sprawling area rug to warm up your floors or a geometric accent chair to offset a neutral area.
Houseplants have taken over our interiors over the past few seasons. So the natural progression was bound to be foliage-inspired accessories and patterns. Look out for trending décor shelves to display your favourite plants or maybe use green accents in your soft furnishings.
The Art Deco trend will always be popular, from geometric patterns, shiny metallic, striking contrasts of colour to luxurious fabrics. Add drama and glamour to a modern interior design with ornate and extravagant details. Think deep blues with contrasting golds and yellows or go all out with monochrome. Accessories and technology will merge
PWC’s latest top retailer report reveals technology will become increasingly embedded into home products. As a result, we’ll see more speakers built into furniture such as shelving, upholstery and bedside tables. In addition, more household appliances will connected to the internet.
Brass will be the new copper
Move over rose gold… Metallic finishes on light fittings, tech gadgets and other home accessories will continue to shine in 2017 but, the metal of choice will be brass. The continuing trends of rich greens and blues are accented with brass accessories.
Burnt orange, blush pinks, royal blues, reds and golds will be extremely popular colours for 2018. Go bold with flawless suede sofas to quirky bright home accessories and don’t be afraid to mix and match.
The rustic and reclaimed wood look will be trending in 2018. Luxury vinyl’s such as; Homeware Online’s new Finesse Flooring range is a cheaper alternative to wood. Cheap doesn’t mean inferior, as it is easy to lay, requires less maintenance and has a hard wearing layer. It’s perfect for transforming floor spaces or even walls in a kitchen, bathroom, living area, dining room, bedroom or hallway.
